Dear Jim Rixen and Staff,
I just want to send along a long overdue THANK YOU to you for your dedicated service to your customers.
We are the proud owners of a 2002 Country Coach 40 foot Intrigue that we bought in 2006 and have been fortunate enough to travel even more in it since I retired in 2009.
Our Coach has a Hurricane Model C045D heater and on three (3) separate occasions now you and your staff members have been extremely helpful to us by talking / walking us through problem research to find and resolve issues with our Hurricane heating system for which we are very grateful.
1) In the fall of 2009 we were traveling in New England when our furnace would no longer light. After some research I was able to reach you, Jim, by phone and you very quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty fuel pump. You mailed a replacement to me in Connecticut and then even walked me through installing it by phone.
2) In April of 2011 we again experienced a problem keeping the unit lit and by phone you talked me through cleaning the nozzle with WD40, etc. and it began working fine.
3) Again In Oct. of last year, 2013, after I followed my 2011 notes on how to clean the unit, I called your business and between Jared and then Jim’s expertise you once more talked me through testing and cleaning the solenoid, sprayer and other parts with a needle,etc until it worked properly and has continued to do so.
I know it is important for you to know just how great it is for your customers to know there is someone out there that you can call who is more than willing to help out. Actually, last October Jared even called me back about 3 days after he put me in touch with Jim, to confirm that our furnace was still working and we were staying warm.
Please know that if we reach a time when our unit is no longer serviceable we will once again contact you for a replacement.

Jim & Mike – Thanks for the great service and hospitality while getting my ESPAR heater
service running again! I really enjoyed checking out your “test bench” for verifying the
heater repair. It’s really cool! Just got back home to Colorado. Mike, Sue and I got to stay over
at the Cascade Falls KOA on the way home. Beautiful spot. You guys are the BEST!
